QR codes – they seem like a good idea, yet their implementation is often shallow and clumsy. Tesco have certainly shown what can be done with QR codes building a shopping experience at train stations in South Korea.
I saw artist Penny Byrne on ABC TV’s Artscape program this week. In the same week I saw a tribute to her work in a shop window, or it it just a dolls head on porcelain animal coincidence? Somehow I doubt the artist is moonlighting as a window dresser. I guess imitation is a form of flattery.
